I have been teaching for 24 years in Elementary, Middle School, and now High School. I received my BS from the University of Iowa and my MS from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in Educational Administration and Information Technology. I enjoy Motorcycle Riding, Amateur Radio, my daughter's swim meets and traveling.

What are your reflections about using media in education?

Using media in education is a great way for students to show their learning and understanding. Students are naturally able to express themselves in video and it makes for a great tool and reflection.

What is one thing about the Omaha Science Media Project that you'd share with other teachers?

The OSMP has been a great learning experience for both students and staff. We found that by using journalistic techniques in video makes it fun and interesting for everyone involved in the video.
