K-12 activities, comics, and games about viruses were created by scientists and educators, many of whom were funded through Science Education Partnership Awards (SEPA) from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). New activities about the Ebola and Measles viruses, developed with funding from the National Science Foundation, are available here: http://infectiousdiseases.edc.org/
The selections above were identified by a team from the World of Viruses project, funded by the National Center for Research Resources (NCRR) at the NIH, SEPA Grant No. R25 RR024267(2007- 2012). Reviewers' comments are the opinions of the teachers and virologists who examined the materials and do not reflect the views of the NCRR or NIH.
